Tutoring Sessions
Each session is a one to one, in-person 45 minute tutoring session and is designed especially for young children aged 4–8. Sessions are calm, supportive and tailored to your child’s individual needs, helping to build confidence alongside key learning skills.

What happens in a 45-minute session?
Each session is carefully structured but flexible, to suit your child’s age and attention span. Sessions may include:

• A short warm-up to help your child settle and feel comfortable.

• Focused learning activities (e.g. phonics, reading or literacy skills).

• Games and hands-on resources to keep learning engaging.

• Time to revisit and reinforce previous learning.

• Positive encouragement throughout to build confidence.

• I work at your child’s pace and adapt sessions accordingly.

 

Block Bookings
Block bookings are ideal for families looking for regular, consistent support. Young children benefit from routine and familiarity and ongoing sessions allow learning to be revisited, reinforced and built on over time.

Keeping Parents Informed

Parents are welcome to ask questions at any time and I’m happy to share brief updates on progress and next steps as sessions continue.

 

Availability

I am able to offer flexible after school sessions throughout the week and Saturday mornings. Sessions are available during term time, subject to availability.

During the school holidays, tutoring sessions are available on request.

​Cancellations and Changes
I understand that plans sometimes change, especially with young children. Therefore, please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange a session. Where possible, I will do my best to offer an alternative date and time.
